Overview

In many African rural areas, access to digital tools and support remains limited, leaving people of all ages disconnected from opportunity. This project is creating a central hub where community members can access support, build CVs, search for jobs, and stay informed. With a well-equipped office, EVDO can bridge that gap, distributing information, boosting participation, and empowering the community through practical, hands-on support.

Objectives

To establish an efficient community office space to develop the technical capacity of the local community and support their technical requirements.

When a funder believes in the work of an Indigenous organisation, it shows a commitment that goes beyond that single organisation’s values. It reflects a belief in what is right for Indigenous Peoples as a whole.”

Executive Director

Results/Impact

This project will build youth capacity and expand access to support services in EVDO-supported communities, while enabling the team to work more effectively. By strengthening the people, we strengthen the environment, because communities are the custodians of their land.
