The photograph receiving the highest overall score across all competition categories will be named the Overall Winner.

The Overall Winner will receive:

  • A cash prize of USD $1,000; and
  • The opportunity to nominate a community-based conservation organisation to receive a USD $500 donation.

The cash prize will be paid via bank transfer to the winner’s personal bank account. The winner may be required to provide proof of identity, banking details, and any additional documentation reasonably required to process the payment.

The Organiser will cover any reasonable bank transfer fees incurred in sending the prize. However, any taxes or statutory charges applicable in the recipient’s country remain the responsibility of the recipient.

The Overall Winner may nominate a community-based conservation organisation to receive a USD $500 donation.

The nominated organisation must:

The Organiser reserves the right to review and approve nominated organisations before any payment is made.

If the nominated organisation does not meet the eligibility requirements, cannot be verified, or declines the donation, the Organiser may request an alternative nomination from the winner. If no suitable nomination is made, the Organiser reserves the right to allocate the donation to another eligible community-based conservation organisation aligned with the objectives of the Competition.

Donation payments will only be made via bank transfer to an account held in the name of the nominated organisation.

The two highest-scoring photographs that are not selected as the Overall Winner will be recognised as Runners-Up.

Each Runner-Up will receive a cash prize of USD $300.

Runner-Up prizes will be paid via bank transfer to the recipient’s personal bank account. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity, banking details, and any additional documentation reasonably required to process the payment.
