Dr. Bob Mandinyenya is an environmental and wildlife conservation professional with extensive expertise in ecology and landscape conservation planning. He holds a PhD in Environmental and Evolutionary Biology from Sapienza University of Rome. His research focused on the spatial ecology of African savanna elephants within the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area, and on translating the research findings into policy and land-use approaches for landscapes that are beyond protected area boundaries, and shared with local communities. Bob has successfully led multidisciplinary projects and field-based monitoring programs that inform decision-making across complex landscapes. He is committed to improving conservation outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and science-based management approaches.
